KB10159 - In mosaic situations involving multiple images, how do I control which image is visible in the overlapping areas?

Yes, the ranking hierarchy of the images in overlapping areas is consistent with the order of the image files in the list in the AIC Project Manager module. It is as if the first (highest) image in the project list were physically laid on a table, then next, and the next, etc. The last images to be laid on the table are visible in the overlapping areas. Therefore, the images closer to the bottom of the project list have priority in overlapping situations over images that are higher in the project list. The lower most image in the list has the overlap highest priority.

The images can easily be reordered in file list in the Project Manager module at any time before starting a project rectification run. The images can also be reordered within the Preview window.
