KB10630 - Using the TatukGIS Editor, can I select vector objects in one layer using overlaying objects in another layer?
Yes.
1. You can spatially query object in one layer with a user-drawn line or polygon using the Select functionality supported in both the TatukGIS Editor and the free GIS Viewer.
2. You can spatially query objects in one vector layer using a shape object contained in a different layer by copying the shape object geometry to the Editor clipboard and then using the content of the clipboard layer to perform the spatial selection.
The spatial selection functionality in the Editor reflects the geometric relations between shapes querying functionality supported in the TatukGIS DK toolkit product. This functionality is based on the DE-9IM Model.
