The TatukGIS Internet Server is an ASP.NET server component for the development and deployment of web-based GIS mapping applications. The Internet Server supports the same object API as the TatukGIS Developer Kernel product and ASP.NET compatible development tools including Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Express, or any standard HTML or text editor. An embedded Flash control provides for smooth on-line map dragging, zooming, and data editing.
Other notable features include support for nearly 3,000 pre-defined coordinate systems, on-the-fly map reprojection and rotation, possibility to create the WMS compliant servers, and 3rd-party SQL spatial server database layer formats such as Oracle Spatial & Oracle GeoRaster, Microsoft Spatial Server, ArcSDE and ArcSDE Raster, PostGIS, etc.
Some important product features are demonstrated by the interactive web mapping examples, several of which are presented with source code.
