Other TatukGIS Applications:
Utilities CGM Center
This free utility fixes the positioning offset of GCM symbols in TatukGIS products. It works with the DK v. 8 and later releases.
TatukGIS GPS Interface (Available)
Beginning with the Developer Kernel v. 8 final release, the GPS Interface is packaged with the TatukGIS toolkit product, at no additional charge.
The TatukGIS GPS Interface provides the basic interface functionality for NMEA compatible
GPS devices, from which custom GPS applications may be developed. The GPS Interface
can be easily enhanced via the Borland® Delphi™ source code, which is provided in
full. The product is offered both as a Borland Delphi/C++Builder™/Kylix™ VCL and as
an ActiveX® component (both versions in one product), for compatibility with Visual
Basic, Visual C++, and other languages.
The default set-up is to interpret the following NMEA messages, with data acquisition
based on the WGS84 ellipsoid. (As of the v. 7 upgrade, the GPS Interface supports
the development of functionality to track any NMEA messages from the GPS device.)
- GSA for obtaining visible satellite count
- GGA for obtaining position and altitude
- RMC for obtaining speed and course
- RME for obtaining precision
The GPS Interface is a slimmed down version of the GPS library of the TatukGIS Developer
Kernel. (Trial_Download )
