1. Purchases are performed on-line via the Buy page of the TatukGIS web site with payment by credit card or bank wire transfer. Prices are presented in U.S. Dollars (USD). The buyer can select USD, EUR, or PLN (Polish zloty) as the transaction currency.
  2. For European Union (EU) residents only: Prices are presented without VAT (value added tax). EU domiciled companies or organizations must provide its valid VAT number, which will be reflected on the invoice, to avoid being charged VAT. Then the buyer must account for VAT in its home EU country. If an EU buyer is in Poland, or a private person in any EU country, 23% Poland VAT is added to the price and reflected on the invoice.
  3. Product delivery is by internet download. There are no shipping charges.
  4. Pro-forma and final commercial invoices are provided on-line for PDF download or print-out. The proforma invoice is available upon completion of the online purchase order procedure. The commercial invoice is generated upon receipt and acceptance of the purchase payment. If required and upon request, a physical invoice can also be provided via post mail.
  5. TatukGIS will honor purchase cancellation/refund requests submitted within 14 days of the purchase date provided that the product has not been downloaded and activated to retail status on a computer. Purchase cancellation/refund is not possible after the product has been activated to retail status. As stipulated in the license agreement, it is the responsibility of the buyer to use the trial version to verify, before purchase, that the product fulfills the buyer's requirements.
  6. Online credit card payments are processed in two phases:
    1. Authentication phase: Customer submits the credit card information via a secure online connection directly to the credit card processor using industry-standard security protocols. (Credit card data is never shared with, or stored by, TatukGIS.) The transaction amount becomes blocked on the credit card account.
    2. Approval phase: TatukGIS accepts (or does not accept) the purchase order. If accepted, the transaction amount is charged to the credit card.
  7. Purchase orders are processed (accepted, declined, or additional information/clarification requested) within 24 hours of the receipt of payment, and typically much faster. Upon acceptance, the purchaser and declared licensed user (if different) are notified by email and the licensed user registration account is activated with product access. (Safe-list @tatukgis.com addresses with spam filters to ensure receipt of notification emails.)
  8. TatukGIS reserves the right to not accept any purchase order, such as if a purchaser does not provide sufficient or accurate registration information, does not respond to a request for additional information, or is located in a country subject to export restrictions or sanctions. TatukGIS reserves the right to ask a purchaser/customer to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
  9. With bank wire transfer payments, the buyer (payer) is responsible for any fees charged by the paying bank and/or correspondent (intermediary) bank. The purchaser must increase the transfer payment as necessary to cover any bank fees deducted from the payment to ensure the full invoice amount is received by the TatukGIS bank account. (On a SWIFT bank payment form, this is achieved by selecting the “OUR” option under “Detail of charges”.)
  10. License maintenance (12 months is included with each license purchase) includes access to i) new product versions providing new features, improvements, and bug fixes and ii) technical support via email. New features, improvements, and fixes of bugs discovered in a current or previous version of a product are provided in the next (or a future) release version.
  11. Technical support is provided by email and only to the email address a license is registered to in the TatukGIS customer database. Therefore, please do not register a license to one email address and correspond to TatukGIS using a different email address.
  12. TatukGIS guarantees download access only to recent product versions and only for licensed users with active maintenance. If continuing to use an obsolete (historical) product version, the customer is responsible for keeping a backup installation copy of that version.
  13. TatukGIS will respond to any credit card purchase related complaint processed via the credit card payments system within 7 working days, unless the complaint is subject to different procedures of a particular credit card organization. (We recommend first contacting TatukGIS directly to resolve any complaint.)
  14. Credit card transactions are processed using services provided by Stripe.
