OpenStreetMap Server

TatukGIS hosted OSM web tile servers offer easy-to-implement, detailed world map layers for use in projects and applications (desktop, tablet, smartphone, server) running on any internet connected computer.

Access to the OSM server is provided as a free benefit for TatukGIS customers with active license maintenance. This is valuable because most publicly available map tile servers, even most OpenStreetMap Servers, are prohibited or restricted by commercial license (see "OpenStreetMap data is free for everyone to use. Our tile servers are not.").

The TatukGIS hosted OSM map tiles are available as four styles, offering the choice of English or native language place name labeling and with or without hillshade and contour lines. Each style is accessed using a unique connector file (.ttkwp) provided in the Developer Kernel sample data set. With the TatukGIS Editor and free GIS Viewer products, each style can be opened as a map layer using selection options under menu File / Favorites.
