TatukGIS products contain sophisticated label placement features that balance the trade-off between the benefits and processing costs of intelligent label positioning. (Achieving the optimal label placement in every situation would consume too much processing power, resulting in reduced in speed.) Labels for line features are positioned in the best-fitting location within any given map view and labels for irregularly shaped polygons are positioned in very good locations most of the time, with a guarantee the placement is never outside the polygon boundary.
The label positioning also prevents labels from ever overlapping each other.
The default label placement behavior can be turned off in by setting the label allocator property to false.
