This situation requires the use of direct casting.

Possibility #1:
DirectCast(ll.Params, TatukGIS_DK.IXGIS_ParamsSectionVector).Line.Symbol = Nothing

Possibility #2:
Dim params as TatukGIS_DK.IXGIS_ParamsSectionVector

Params = ll.Params
params.Line.Symbol = Nothing
