Km instead of miles

I have an application with several windows with maps. The scalebar on all maps, except for one, show kilometers (or meters) as unit. However, on one map with OpenStreetMaps as basemap the scalebar shows miles. How can I force the scalebar to show kilometers?
I have tried  with GISControlScale.UnitsEPSG := 3785; but then only meters are shown, not km at higher level.

try using units epsg, not projection : 
GISControlScale.UnitsEPSG := 904201
